Mike Barnes

Mike died on 24th May 2018. He had received much care and support from both the Royal United Hospital ITU in Bath and South Mead Hospital ICU in Bristol. The following appeared in The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday 29 May 2018:

The funeral took place on 15th June 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Sherston SN16 0LR in The Church of the Holy Cross. A wake was held immediately after the service at The Hare and Hounds Hotel, Westonbirt GL8 8QL. Both the Lyneham Flying Club and 47 Squadron from RAF Brize Norton laid on Fly Pasts at 10.10 a.m.

Mike’s family created a webpage at www.mab66.com in Mike’s honour and will also use it to post any memories, photos or anecdotes they receive. As at 2 March 2020 the website is not available.
